Our Journey

Our Love Story

Stanley
Catherine

Stanley Catherine

It began with a mutual friend and brother, Jeffrey Assan — fondly known as Rabito — who casually asked Catherine to speak to his friend over the phone. She didn't think much of it, until that "friend" actually called on the evening of 18th December 2024.

From the very first conversation, something felt different. It didn't feel like two strangers talking for the first time — it felt easy, natural, almost like they had known each other much longer. They laughed, they connected, and the conversation flowed effortlessly.

Their first in-person meeting at Silverbird only confirmed what they already felt. A simple movie hangout turned into hours of walking, talking, and enjoying each other's presence. Neither of them seemed ready to let the day end.

Then came 5th January 2025 — the day Stanley asked Catherine to be his girlfriend. She already knew her answer, but in true fashion, she took her time — until she finally said yes in March.

By October 2025, what they had built had grown into something even more beautiful — he asked her to spend forever with him. Since then, the journey has been nothing short of God's grace: growing together in Christ, building their own prayer altar, dreaming together, and supporting each other every step of the way.

This love story can only be God's doing. Because truly, every day with Him, is every day in victory.
